EPFO Pensioners: Submit Your Digital Life Certificate From Home – Easy Step-by-Step Guide

EPFO pensioners now have great news! The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has partnered with India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to make Digital Life Certificate (DLC) submission easier than ever.
With this service pensioners can submit their life certificate from home, without visiting any bank or EPFO office.

A Digital Life Certificate is an Aadhaar-based biometric certificate that confirms a pensioner is alive. Each certificate has a unique ID called Pramaan-ID, and the pension-disbursing agency verifies it automatically.

How This New Service Works

Most Important: This service is completely FREE of cost.

Why Life Certificates Are Needed

Every year, pensioners must submit a life certificate to confirm they are alive. Once verified, their pension continues to be credited regularly into their bank account.

Life Certificate Submission Dates

All Pensioners: Submit between November 1 to November 30 every year.
Senior Citizens (80+ years): Can submit early from October 1, 2025.
Submitting on time ensures there is no break in receiving the monthly pension.

This Aadhaar-based biometric system makes the process quick, simple, and fully digital.
