Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC Update
The Maharashtra government started the Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana to help and support women. Under this scheme, women get ₹1,500 every month, which is sent directly to their bank accounts. However beneficiaries are now being urged to complete their e-KYC immediately, or they might miss out on the upcoming instalments.
Although the government hasn’t made any official announcement about halting payments reports suggest that failure to complete e-KYC may cause delays or stoppage of benefits. To avoid inconvenience, eligible women should finish their e-KYC process as soon as possible.
How to Complete e-KYC for Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana
Women enrolled in the scheme can easily complete e-KYC using their mobile phones.Here’s how
1. e-KYC through Aadhaar OTP
- Visit the official website: https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in
- Click on the “e-KYC” option.Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code.
- Select the “I Agree” option and press the “Send OTP” button.
- Enter the OTP received on your Aadhaar linked mobile number.Fill in the required information such as bank details, income details, and upload necessary documents.
- Tap “Submit,” then write down or save your reference number somewhere safe.
2. Face e-KYC via Mobile App
- Download the ‘Mera eKYC’ or ‘Aadhaar Face RD’ app from the Play Store.
- Turn on your mobile location.
- Fill in your Aadhaar number and continue with the steps shown.
- Click your live photo through the camera to verify your identity.
- This process takes just a few minutes and ensures uninterrupted benefits.
Eligibility Criteria for Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana
To receive ₹1,500 every month, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
Age: Between 21 and 65 years. - Annual family income: Less than ₹2.5 lakh.
- The bank account must be linked with Aadhaar.
- Only one unmarried woman per family can apply.
- Applicable for married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, or destitute women.
Important Reminder
Women who haven’t yet completed their e-KYC under the Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana should act quickly. Completing e-KYC ensures that the ₹1,500 monthly amount continues to be deposited without interruption.
