Nothing has officially announced that its latest smartphone, the Phone 3a Lite, which made its global debut on October 29, will launch in India on November 27. Company co-founder Akis Evangelidis has also confirmed that the Indian market will receive a special variant of the device. While Nothing hasn’t shared whether the Indian version will have the same hardware as the global model, early images indicate that it will feature the brand’s signature ‘Glyph Light’ setup on the back.
According to the company the upcoming launch aims to bring the unique Nothing design and user experience to more consumers at a more affordable price point.
Nothing Phone 3a Lite: Expected Features
The Indian version is expected to share most of its specifications with the global model with only minor adjustments if needed. The Phone 3a Lite comes with a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak HDR brightness.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In terms of cameras, the phone features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear. For selfies, it includes a 16MP front camera. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
New Design With a Simplified Glyph Light
A key design change in the Phone 3a Lite is its updated Glyph Light. Unlike the multiple LED strips seen in the Phone 3a series, this version comes with a single LED light. Despite being simpler it still supports useful functions such as:
- Silent alerts
- Essential notifications
- Camera countdown indicators
- Custom light effects for calls and alerts
Software and AI Features
Running on NothingOS 3.5 based on Android 15, the Phone 3a Lite introduces new AI-powered tools. The highlight is Essential Space, accessed via the Essential Key, which helps manage saved media and notes using natural-language search. Users can also create reminders and calendar notes in just a moment.

- Private Space for sensitive content
- App Locker for securing selected apps
