Good news and important updates are here for farmers waiting for the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. The central government has recently released a notification to clear all confusion and fake news regarding the payment.
According to the latest update, the government has paused payments for some farmers because many applications were found to be against the scheme’s eligibility rules. As a result, the ₹2,000 installment has been put on hold for those farmers.
Over 35 Lakh Farmers Removed from PM Kisan List
During a recent review, the government removed the names of around 35 lakh farmers from the PM Kisan beneficiary list. These names were flagged due to incorrect or incomplete documents. If your name has been removed, don’t worry — you can check your eligibility online and update your documents to get re-registered for the next payment cycle.
When Will the 21st Installment Be Released
Officials have said that the 21st installment will be released only after verifying and removing ineligible names from the list. So the next ₹2,000 payment will be credited once the verification process is complete.
