The PM Kisan Yojana is bringing good news for farmers at the beginning of 2026 . Farmers waiting for the PM Kisan 22nd installment may soon receive good news. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, eligible farmers get annual financial help of ₹6,000, given in three installments of ₹2,000 each.
As per reports, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan is likely to be credited to farmers’ bank accounts in February 2026.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date: When Will Money Come?
The 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana was release in November 2025. According to the scheme schedule, installments are transferred every four months.
Looking at the earlier payment pattern, the PM Kisan 22nd installment is likely to be released in the first or second week of February 2026. Like before, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may send the money to farmers’ bank accounts during an official program. Although the government has not shared the exact date yet, farmers should keep their documents ready so there is no delay in getting the payment.

The ₹2,000 PM Kisan installment plays an important role for farmers especially during the Rabi harvest season.This money helps farmers pay for seeds, fertilizers, and any other daily farming needs.
PM Kisan Beneficiary List: Check Your Name Before Payment
Every farmer—whether you have been getting the benefit for a long time or have just registered should check your name in the PM Kisan beneficiary list before the money is sent. This makes sure your name is included and your details are correct, so there is no problem in getting the payment.
Checking your status in advance can save time and prevent last-minute problems.
PM Kisan e-KYC Mandatory for 22nd Installment
The government has made PM Kisan e-KYC compulsory. Farmers who does’nt complete e-KYC will not receive the 22nd installment.
You can complete e-KYC in two easy ways:
- Online e-KYC through the PM Kisan portal using Aadhaar OTP
- Offline e-KYC by visiting the nearest Common Service Center (CSC) with biometric verification
Aadhaar Linking and Bank Account Status Important
For PM Kisan DBT payment, farmers must fulfill these conditions:
- Bank account should be active
- Aadhaar must be linked with the bank account
- DBT option should be enabled
Many payments get delayed due to Aadhaar seeding issues. If your Aadhaar status shows “No,” visit your bank immediately and get it corrected to avoid delay in the PM Kisan 22nd installment.
