PM Kisan Yojana Latest Update 2025
The Central Government is soon going to release the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. However, this time, not every farmer will get the next installment.
Farmers Without e-KYC or Land Verification Will Miss ₹2000
The government has clearly stated that only farmers who have completed Aadhaar-based e-KYC and land record verification will receive the next installment.
Those who haven’t completed these steps will not receive ₹2000, which will be a major setback for them. The government may release the 21st installment by the first week of November 2025 (around November 7).

So, farmers are advised to complete their e-KYC and verification process immediately to avoid missing out.
Farmers in These States Have Already Received the 21st Installment
The government has already transferred the ₹2000 installment early to farmers in Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab — all of which were affected by floods.According to reports around 27 lakh farmers across these four states have received the benefit. The ₹2000 payment was released on September 26, 2025.
Farmers in other states are still waiting for their installment, which is expected to be credited soon.
How to Complete PM Kisan e-KYC Online
To ensure you don’t miss the next payment, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website – www.pmkisan.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and registered mobile number on it.
- Submit the OTP received on your phone to complete e-KYC.
Once your e-KYC is verified, your account will remain eligible for upcoming payments.
PM Kisan Yojana – Total Installments Released So Far
So far, 20 installments of the PM Kisan Yojana have been credited to farmers’ bank accounts. The 20th installment was given on August 2, 2025.
Every year the government transfers a total of ₹6,000 to registered farmers in three equal installments.The 21st installment is now awaited by millions of farmers across India.
