This scheme gives ₹1,500 every month to eligible youth who have completed their secondary education and are looking for work. It is a temporary support to help youth manage their expenses while searching for a job.

Who Can Get Benefits?

The West Bengal Yuva Sathi Scheme is for young people aged 21 to 40 who live in West Bengal.To apply, you must:

How Much Financial Help Will You Get?

Eligible youth will get ₹1,500 per month directly in their bank account. The youth will get this money for 5 years. It is ₹18,000 every year and ₹90,000 in total. After 5 years, the government will check if the youth still has no job and then decide if they will get the money again.

When Will the Scheme Start?

The scheme will start on 1st April 2026. Applications will open in February 2026. The government will set up special camps in all 294 assembly constituencies across West Bengal.

Can Beneficiaries Receive Other Scholarships?

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that even if you get other government scholarships, you can still get money from the Yuva Sathi Scheme. If you don’t get any other money, you will get ₹1,500 per month for 5 years. If you remain unemployed after 5 years, your name can be renewed to continue receiving the benefit.
