Farming in India depends a lot on weather and market prices. To help farmers financially, the government started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). Under this scheme, farmers get ₹6,000 every year, sent directly to their bank accounts in three installments of ₹2,000.
Till now, the government has released 21 installments. Farmers across the country are now waiting for the PM Kisan 22nd Installment, especially as February 2026 has started.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date: When Will ₹2,000 Be Credited?
As per PM Kisan rules, farmers get money once every four months. The 21st installment was released in November 2025, so the next installment is expected in February 2026.
According to media reports, the PM Kisan 22nd Installment may come in the second or third week of February. However, the government has not shared a exact date yet. Farmers should finish all required work early so there is no delay in getting the money.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment: 3 Reasons Why Your Payment May Stop
If you want to receive the ₹2,000 without any problem, make sure these three things are completed:
1. Complete e-KYC
e-KYC is compulsory for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries. If your e-KYC is not done, your installment will not come.
You can do e-KYC online at pmkisan.gov.in using Aadhaar and OTP. If you face any issue, visit the nearest CSC center for biometric verification.
2. Check Land Seeding Status
PM-KISAN benefits are given only to farmers whose land details are updated in government records. If your status shows “Land Seeding: No”, your PM Kisan 22nd Installment will not be credited.
To fix this, visit your patwari, tehsil office, or revenue office with your land documents and update the details.
3. Activate DBT in Bank Account
The money is sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Sometimes, the bank account is active but DBT is not enabled.
Go to your bank and:
- Link Aadhaar with your bank account
- Ensure Aadhaar is linked with NPCI
Without this, the money will not reach your account.

Follow these simple steps:-
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on Beneficiary Status
- Enter your mobile number or registration number
If e-KYC, land seeding, and bank Aadhaar linking all show “Yes”, then you will get the PM Kisan 22nd Installment without any issue.
