PAN Aadhaar Link Mandatory: Check Status & Link PAN with Aadhaar Online

If you have a PAN card, then linking it with Aadhaar is very important. The government has fixed 31 December 2025 as the last date for PAN Aadhaar Link. If PAN is not linked with Aadhaar before this date, your PAN card may become inactive. This can create problems in bank work, income tax filing, and other financial transactions.

Why PAN Aadhaar Link Is Necessary

A PAN card is needed for opening a bank account, taking a loan, filing income tax returns, and making big financial transactions. If your PAN Aadhaar Link is not completed, you may not be able to use your PAN card properly. That is why completing the PAN Aadhaar link on time is very important.

How to Check PAN Aadhaar Link Status Online

You can easily check PAN Aadhaar Link status using your mobile phone. First, go to the official Income Tax Department website incometax.gov.in. On the homepage, click on Link Aadhaar Status option. Now enter your PAN number and Aadhaar number and click on View Link Aadhaar Status.

If the message shows that your PAN is already linked with Aadhaar, then you do not need to do anything.

How to Link PAN with Aadhaar Online

If your PAN is not linked you can complete the PAN Aadhaar Link process online. Visit incometax.gov.in and click on Link Aadhaar. Enter your PAN and Aadhaar numbers and click on Validate option. Fill in the required details and submit the form. Your PAN Card will be linked with Aadhaar successfully.
