PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: 22nd Installment Update, Check Date, Eligibility & Status

The central government is running many welfare schemes to help farmers. One of the most important schemes is the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme provides financial help directly to farmers’ bank accounts.

Under PM Kisan Yojana, eligible farmers get ₹6,000 every year. The money is sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) so that farmers receive the amount without any middleman.

PM Kisan 21st Installment Released

So far, the government has released 21 installments under this scheme. The 21st installment was released on November 19 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

In this installment:

• Around ₹18,000 crore was sent
• More than 9 crore farmers got the benefit
• Total money given so far is over ₹4 lakh crore

Now farmers are waiting for the 22nd installment.

PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date

According to media reports, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana may be released in February 2026. However, the government has not announced any official date yet.

Farmers should complete these tasks to avoid delay:

• Complete e-KYC
• Link Aadhaar with bank account
• Update bank details

What Is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

Under this scheme, farmers receive ₹2,000 every four months:

• April to July
• August to November
• December to March

In total, farmers get ₹6,000 every year. The scheme started in 2019 and is now one of the largest DBT schemes in the world.

PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility

Farmers must meet these conditions:

• Must be an Indian citizen
• Must own agricultural land
• Should be a small or marginal farmer
• Should not pay income tax

Should not receive a pension of ₹10,000 or more per month

Follow these easy steps:

1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in
2. Click on Beneficiary List
3. Select State, District, Block, Village
4. Click Get Report

If your name is on the list, you will receive the installment.

How to Apply for PM Kisan Yojana?

To apply online:

1. Go to pmkisan.gov.in
2. Click on New Farmer Registration
3. Enter Aadhaar number and other details
4. Submit the form
