Millions of farmers are waiting for the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, but this time the payment is delayed. The government has now shared an important update explaining the reason behind this delay and what farmers must do to receive their next installment. Before releasing the 20th installment it was found that many eligible farmers were not following the scheme rules properly.

At the same time, several ineligible people were also taking benefits. Due to these issues, the government has made some steps mandatory before releasing the next installment.

This article explains why the installment is delayed what actions the government is taking and how eligible farmers can get ₹4,000 directly in their bank accounts.

Strict Action Against Ineligible Farmers

According to the government’s official update a huge number of farmers were either violating PM Kisan rules or taking benefits despite being ineligible. Because of this:

  • Many ineligible farmers were removed from the scheme during the 20th installment.
  • Their names were deleted from the PM Kisan beneficiary list.

As per the latest information, around 3.5 crore farmers have been temporarily removed from the list. The government is now verifying the details of all eligible farmers through fast physical verification.

With this step, the government makes sure that only real and eligible farmers keep getting PM Kisan benefits. This is an important move to bring more transparency and fairness to the scheme.

Good News: Eligible Farmers Will Get ₹4,000

There is relief for farmers whose PM Kisan installment was stopped due to incomplete documents or rule violations. The government said that once eligible farmers update their information, their pending installment will be released along with the next one. This means:

  • Pending 20th installment = ₹2,000

Total ₹4,000 will be sent directly to your account after you complete the required updates.
