SBI RD Scheme 2025: India’s largest government bank, SBI has introduced a new scheme for the new year. This plan is designed to help families grow their savings safely through a secure recurring deposit. There is no risk involved & customers can invest with complete confidence. Under this scheme, investors can choose a deposit period between 3 to 10 years, depending on their financial goals. The monthly deposit amount is also very affordable, making it simple for anyone to start saving. You can invest by paying small monthly installments.

How much do you need to begin?

You can start this plan with just ₹593 per month. With this small amount you can build a fund of ₹1 lakh. As per SBI’s details if you deposit ₹593 every month at an interest rate of 6.50%, you will receive ₹1 lakh after 10 years.

Short-Term Option for Quick Returns

If you don’t want to wait for 10 years, SBI also offers a faster option. To get ₹1 lakh in just 3 years, you need to deposit ₹2,502 per month. After three years SBI will return ₹1 lakh.

Another important point is that minors aged 10 years and above can also invest in this scheme by opening a joint account with their guardian.
