Lucknow, February 16: The UP Scholarship 2025-26 process has entered an important stage. The online correction window closed on February 13. Now students must complete the final step — submit the printed corrected application form to their school or college by February 18.
Officials from the Social Welfare Department have clearly said that if students do not submit the hard copy, their application will not move forward.
There are only two days left. No extension has been announced.
Why Printed Form Submission is Important for UP Scholarship 2025-26
Many students think that correcting mistakes online is enough. But this is not true.
If you made any correction in your form — even a small spelling change — you must:
- Print the corrected form
- Attach required documents
- Submit it to your college office
Colleges will check your documents and match them with the updated online details. Without this verification, your UP Scholarship 2025-26 application may be rejected.
What Happens After February 18?
After the deadline, the next steps will begin:
- February 19 to February 27: The National Informatics Centre will re-check corrected data.
- By March 10: District Scholarship Committee will complete final verification.
- Around March 18: Money will be transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Once the data is locked, no changes will be allowed.
Some Students Have Already Received Payment
Students whose forms were verified early have already received their scholarship money in Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
But students who made corrections are still waiting. Many still see old error messages on the portal. Officials say the status will update after February 19 during re-checking.
Check Your Bank Account Link
Under the DBT system, money is sent directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
If your Aadhaar is not properly linked with your bank account, the payment can fail. Students should visit their bank and confirm Aadhaar seeding.
This small step can stop delay in your UP Scholarship money.
What Students Should Do Now
Before February 18, students must:
- Print the corrected application form.
- Attach correct documents (income certificate, caste certificate, Aadhaar copy, bank passbook copy).
- Submit the form to the college office.
- Ask for receipt if possible.
- Check Aadhaar-bank linking.
If your portal still shows an error, do not panic. Updates will likely appear after February 19.
