Ladki Bahin Yojana Beneficiaries Waiting for Pending Installments

Women beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahin Yojana in Maharashtra are still waiting for their pending installments for December and January. Lakhs of women have not received the money, due to which protests are being seen in many areas of the state.

At the same time, opposition parties are claiming that the Ladki Bahin Yojana has been stopped. However, the state government has clearly denied these claims.

Government Clears Rumours About Ladki Bahin Yojana

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made it clear that the Ladki Bahin Yojana will not be closed. He said that the scheme is running and the government is fully committed to supporting women.

He also criticised the opposition and said they are spreading confusion among women beneficiaries.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Amount to Increase to ₹2,100?

Currently, women receive ₹1,500 per month under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Eknath Shinde has assured that this amount will soon be increased to ₹2,100 per month.

He said that when the right time comes the Maharashtra government will officially announce the increase.

When Will Ladki Bahin Yojana Pending Money Be Credited?

According to media reports, the January installment of the Ladki Bahin Yojana is likely to be credited after February 15. The payment was delayed because the e-KYC of some beneficiaries was not completed.

Once the e-KYC verification is finished, all pending installments will be sent directly to their bank accounts.

Why Was Ladki Bahin Yojana Payment Delayed?

Another reason for the delay is the local body and Panchayat Samiti elections held in 12 districts on February 7. Due to election duties, government staff were busy, which slowed down the payment process.

Officials have said that payments will be released soon.

When Was Ladki Bahin Yojana Started?

The Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched in July 2024 by the Mahayuti government. Under this scheme, eligible women get monthly financial help directly in their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.

The aim of the Ladki Bahin Yojana is to make women financially independent, especially in rural and poor areas.

Beneficiaries can easily check their Ladki Bahin Yojana payment status online are:

  1. Visit the official website of the Maharashtra Women and Child Development Department
  2. Click on Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana
  3. Choose Check Payment Status
  4. Enter your Aadhaar number or Beneficiary ID
  5. Submit the details
  6. Check your linked bank account for confirmation

The Maharashtra government has assured women that the Ladki Bahin Yojana is continuing and pending payments will be released soon. With the upcoming increase to ₹2,100 per month, the scheme will provide even better financial support to women.
