Aasif Sheikh and Salman Khan became friends in the late 1980s, when both were new to the Hindi film industry. At that time, they were struggling to make a place for themselves in Bollywood.

Soon after entering films, Salman Khan became very popular, mainly because Maine Pyar Kiya was a big hit. At the same time, Aasif Sheikh’s career moved slowly and he faced many difficulties. They followed different career paths, but their friendship remained strong and unchanged.

Salman Khan became very successful, while Aasif Sheikh faced hard times. When Aasif was not getting work, Salman Khan helped him and supported him.

In earlier interviews, Aasif Sheikh shared that Salman helped him by recommending his name for film roles when opportunities were limited. This support played an important role in keeping Aasif going in the industry.

In an interview with Times of India, Aasif Sheikh said that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is very close to his heart. The film was one of the last projects of the late Satish Kaushik.

Aasif shared that all his scenes were with Satish Kaushik, and the time spent on set with him is something he will always remember.

A Friendship That Feels the Same Even Today

Aasif Sheikh has said that even if he doesn’t meet Salman Khan for a long time, their bond feels unchanged when they meet again. He deeply respects Salman for standing by him during tough times.

According to Aasif, his main aim in life is to keep entertaining the audience and work on more good projects in the future.

Aasif Sheikh’s Success as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra

Today, Aasif Sheikh is very popular for playing Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the hit TV show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. His very good comic timing and the way he plays different characters make people laugh a lots. Because of his unique style and fun performances, he has become a favorite among viewers.

He has played more than 350 characters on the show, including over 35 female roles. Because of this achievement, he has been recognized by the World Book of Records.

Recently, he also came into the spotlight after the release of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain: Fun On The Run.

Aasif Sheikh’s Early Life and Acting Journey

Aasif Sheikh was born on November 11, 1964, in New Delhi. He completed his English Honours from Khalsa College and later studied hotel management.

His interest in acting grew when he was involved in theatre at Mandi House. In 1984, he made his TV debut with the show Hum Log. He later entered Bollywood and worked in many films and television shows.

In the early years, he also acted alongside legendary actor Dev Anand in the 1991 film Kahan Hai Kanoon.

Aasif Sheikh’s Earnings from Television

As per reports, Aasif Sheikh earns around Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000 per episode from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. This show is currently his main source of income.

Even after decades in the industry, Aasif Sheikh continues to win hearts with his talent and dedication.
