What Is Farmer ID Under PM Kisan New Rule?
A Farmer ID is a digital identity given to farmers by the government. It stores complete information about the farmer, including land details, crops grown, fertilizer usage, animal husbandry, and income records.
Under the PM Kisan New Rule, this Farmer ID will be used to confirm farmer eligibility and release PM Kisan payments.

The government is also organizing Farmer ID registration camps at village and panchayat levels to help farmers complete the process easily.
How to Create Online User ID for Farmer ID
Follow these steps to create your online User ID:
- Visit your state’s AgriStack Portal
- Click on Create New User
- Enter your Aadhaar number and complete KYC
- Accept terms and conditions and submit
- Verify OTP sent to Aadhaar-linked mobile number
- Enter mobile number, verify OTP, and set a password
- Your User ID and password will be created successfully.
Farmer ID Registration Process Under PM Kisan New Rule
After creating your User ID, follow these steps
- Log in using User ID & password or OTP
- Fill in all required personal details
- Select Farmer Type: Owner
- Click on Fetch Land Details
- Enter Khasra number and land information
- Add details if you own multiple lands
- Open Social Registry tab and fill Family ID/Ration Card details
- Select Revenue Department for approval
- Give consent and complete digital signature
After verification, your Farmer ID will be generated.
Under the PM Kisan New Rule, Farmer ID is now essential. Farmers are advised to complete their Farmer ID registration as soon as possible to avoid missing future PM Kisan installments.
